Privacy Policy

1. Who we are and what this covers
DB Precision LLC, a Connecticut limited liability company ("DB Precision," "we," "us," "our"), provides baseball player-development training through the DB Precision iOS app, the web app at app.db-precision.com, and the website db-precision.com (together, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to athletes, parents and guardians, coaches, organization administrators, and website visitors.
If a team, facility, or organization gives you access to DB Precision, that organization also has its own agreement with us and controls some of the information about its athletes (see Section 4).
2. Information we collect

We do not ask for Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, or precise location.
3. How we use information
- To create and operate your account and confirm your identity when you sign in.
- To deliver and personalize programs, workouts, Training Builder plans, mental performance lessons, and recovery guidance.
- To show progress, metrics, and history to you and to the coaches permitted to see them.
- To let coaches review swing videos, give feedback, and message athletes.
- To process payments, manage subscriptions, and answer billing questions.
- To send account, training, and billing messages, and push notifications you can control.
- To provide support, keep the Services secure, prevent misuse, and fix problems.
- To improve our programs and features, including through de-identified, aggregated data.
- To meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not show third-party advertising in the app.
4. Coaches and organizations
If you join DB Precision through a team, facility, or organization, its authorized coaches and administrators can see your profile, assigned programs, workout completion, swing submissions, and messages with them. They can see your metrics if your organization enables that setting. They cannot see athletes in other organizations. The organization decides which coaches have access and is responsible for how its staff use the information.
5. AI-assisted features
Some features use artificial intelligence to support coaching. AI Swing Analysis is currently in testing and is not generally available.
When an AI-assisted feature is enabled for you:
- We may send selected video frames, measurements taken from them (such as body-position points), and relevant profile and training context to an AI provider to generate a draft analysis and drill suggestions.
- AI-assisted output is generated automatically and is not individually reviewed by DB Precision staff before an athlete sees it. Your organization's coaches can view it and add their own feedback.
- We use these providers' business API services. Under those providers' API terms, data we submit is not used to train their models by default.
- AI-assisted output is a coaching aid and may be inaccurate (see Terms of Use, Section 10).
6. Who we share information with
We share information only as described in this Policy.

We also share information:
- With your organization's coaches and administrators (Section 4), and with a parent or guardian on an athlete's account.
- When required by law, or when needed to protect the safety of any person or our rights.
- With a buyer, successor, or affiliate (for example, a newly formed DB Precision company) if our business or assets are reorganized or transferred. Your information remains protected by this Policy.
- With your permission.
7. Youth athletes and parents
Many of our athletes are minors.
- Under 18. An athlete under 18 may use the Services only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian. When an athlete joins through an organization, the organization agrees to collect that permission before adding the athlete.
- Under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent. When a player under 13 is added or signs up, a parent or guardian's email address is required. We email that parent to confirm consent and to agree to oversee the child's use of the Services, and the child's account is not activated until the parent confirms. Until then, we keep only the child's name and the parent's email address, and use them only to request consent. If the parent does not confirm within 14 days, or we learn that we collected a child's information without that consent, we will delete it.
- Parent rights. A parent or guardian may review the child's information, ask us to correct or delete it, and withdraw consent to further collection by emailing us. Withdrawing consent may end the child's access.
- We do not use minors' information for targeted advertising, and we do not sell it.
8. How long we keep information

9. Your choices and rights
- Access, correction, export, and deletion. You may request a copy of your information, correct it, or delete your account using the in-app account deletion request or by emailing us. We respond within 45 days.
- Notifications. Turn push notifications off in your device settings or in the app.
- Emails. Unsubscribe from non-essential emails using the link in the email.
- State privacy rights. Residents of Connecticut, California, and other states with consumer privacy laws may have additional rights, including the right to appeal our decision on a request. We extend these rights to all users in the United States. To appeal, reply to our decision with "Appeal" in the subject line.
We will verify your identity, or a parent's authority, before acting on a request.
10. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, role-based access, organization-scoped database rules, private storage for swing videos, and restricted administrative access. Profile photos are stored at unlisted links that anyone with the exact link could open, so please do not use a photo you would not want seen. No system is perfectly secure. If a security breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.
11. Changes to this Policy
We will post changes on this page with a new "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will notify account holders by email or in the app before the changes take effect.
